If Daphne Bridgerton were planning her wedding in North Carolina, it might look exactly like this.

Over the weekend, I had the absolute joy of photographing a Bridgerton-inspired styled shoot at Willow and Stone Events in Mocksville, NC. As a Statesville-based wedding photographer, I am always searching for venues that feel timeless yet unique. Willow and Stone offers both in abundance. With its lush gardens, grand stonework, and elegant indoor spaces, it is a dream location for couples who want a wedding that feels straight out of a storybook.

The Bridgerton Theme Brought to Life

Think pastel florals, flowing gowns, vintage china, and gold accents. Every detail felt like a scene from Daphne and Simon’s love story. Styled shoots like this are not only a joy to capture but also a goldmine of inspiration for brides planning a luxury wedding in North Carolina.

A Venue That’s as Elegant as It Is Versatile

Showcasing Incredible Wedding Vendors

This shoot was truly a collaboration of some of the area’s most creative wedding professionals:

  • Jeanne Scott of Willow and Stone Events is also the owner and master baker behind Artsy Cakesy, known for luxury wedding cakes. She created a stunning hand-decorated showpiece for the shoot. The cake was both beautiful and a brand new flavor: cardamom latte with mixed berry compote. It was as delicious as it was breathtaking.
  • The event was flawlessly planned by Alexis of Havanola Designs, who brought the Bridgerton vision to life with grace and precision.
  • Faux Real Charlotte created lavish floral installations that looked like they had been plucked straight from an English garden.
  • Brice, a gifted live violinist, serenaded us, adding an authentic Regency era soundtrack to the day.
  • The elegant stationery suite came from Deidra at Blue Magnolia, with delicate, romantic touches that tied the whole theme together.
  • Anne Marie Bridal supplied the breathtaking gowns. Each one dripping with romance and refinement.
  • The stunning bridal makeup looks were completed by Christine of XtineMBeauty, whose artistry made each model glow.

The Charming Faces Behind the Shoot

Bringing this Bridgerton vision to life were our stunning models Zoe and Shane, whose chemistry and grace perfectly captured the timeless romance of the era. Christine not only graced us as a beautiful solo model but also showcased her artistry as the talented makeup artist for the shoot. Their poise and presence truly elevated every frame and helped transform Willow and Stone Events into a dreamy Regency setting.
